Service Agreement & Policies

 

By booking services with Root, Rhythm & Routine, the client acknowledges and agrees to the following terms and policies.

1. Scope of Services

 

Root, Rhythm & Routine provides kitchen wellness and household support services including, but not limited to:

 

• Kitchen organization

• Meal planning support

• Household flow and routine guidance

• Pantry and food storage organization

• Purchasing coordination and recommendations

• Wellness-focused kitchen systems

• Family workflow support

 

Services are designed to improve functionality, reduce stress, and support healthier daily routines. Root, Rhythm & Routine does not provide medical, nutritional, psychological, or licensed therapeutic services.

 

2. Consultation & Booking Policy

 

A signed agreement and any required deposit or consultation fee must be received before services are scheduled.

 

Consultation fees are non-refundable but may be applied toward future services or packages if booked within 3 days of consultation.

 

3. Payment Terms

 

Payment is due according to the following schedule:

 

• Consultation fees: Due at booking

• Project deposits: 75% Due before service begins

• Remaining balances: 25% Due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed in writing

 

Accepted payment methods:

 

• Credit/debit card

• Electronic payment

• Cash

• Other approved methods (cashiers check)

 

Late payments exceeding 14 days may incur a late fee of 5%.

 

Root, Rhythm & Routine reserves the right to pause or discontinue services for unpaid balances.

4. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

 

We understand that schedules change.

 

• Cancellations or rescheduling requests made more than 48 hours before the appointment will not incur a fee.

• Cancellations within 24–48 hours may incur a fee of up to 50% of the scheduled service.

• Same-day cancellations or no-shows may be charged 100% of the scheduled service fee.

 

Root, Rhythm & Routine reserves the right to reschedule services due to illness, emergency, unsafe conditions, or circumstances beyond reasonable control.

 

5. Organizing & Service Boundaries

 

Clients understand and agree that:

 

• Organization systems require ongoing maintenance by household members.

• Results may vary depending on participation, habits, and household routines.

• Root, Rhythm & Routine will not dispose of personal property without client approval.

• Clients are responsible for identifying valuable, sentimental, confidential, or sensitive items.

• Heavy lifting, hazardous materials, infestations, mold, biohazards, or unsafe conditions may result in suspension or refusal of services.

 

Root, Rhythm & Routine reserves the right to decline projects outside the scope of safe and reasonable working conditions.

 

6. Purchasing & Product Recommendations

 

Root, Rhythm & Routine may provide product recommendations, sourcing assistance, or purchasing coordination.

 

Clients acknowledge that:

 

• Product availability and pricing may change.

• Purchasing coordination fees or sourcing fees may apply.

• Certain recommended products may include affiliate commissions or markup fees when applicable.

• Clients are under no obligation to purchase recommended items.

 

Any purchasing budget must be approved by the client before orders are placed.

 

7. Liability Limitation

 

While Root, Rhythm & Routine takes reasonable care during all services, the client agrees that:

 

• Root, Rhythm & Routine is not responsible for pre-existing damage, normal wear and tear, manufacturer defects, or improperly installed fixtures or shelving.  

• Root, Rhythm & Routine has the right to take photos of any pre-exisiting damages before the project starts.

• Clients assume responsibility for securing valuables, fragile items, jewelry, cash, medications, confidential documents, and irreplaceable belongings before services begin.

• Liability for any claim arising from services shall be limited to the amount paid for the specific service provided.

 

Root, Rhythm & Routine is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

 

8. Confidentiality & Privacy

 

Client privacy is respected at all times.

 

Any personal information, household details, schedules, routines, or photographs shared during services will remain confidential and will not be disclosed to third parties except as required by law or with client permission.

 

9. Photo & Media Permission

 

Before-and-after photos may be taken for organizational reference, project planning, or marketing purposes.

 

Please select one:

 

• ☐ I grant permission for anonymous project photos to be used on websites, social media, or marketing materials.

• ☐ I grant permission only if identifying details are removed.

• ☐ I do not grant permission for any photos to be used publicly.

 

Root, Rhythm & Routine will never publicly share personal information, addresses, or identifiable family details without written consent.

 

10. Client Responsibilities

 

To support a successful experience, clients agree to:

 

• Provide reasonable access to spaces being serviced

• Communicate goals and concerns honestly

• Approve purchases and decisions in a timely manner

• Ensure a safe working environment

 

Children and pets should be supervised during active organizing sessions when possible.

 

11. Agreement Acknowledgment

 

By booking services, signing electronically, or submitting payment, the client acknowledges they have read, understood, and agreed to these policies and service terms.
